Hey my dear deviants how's the going, this entire 2010 has been a year full of things for me, its been overwelming and thats why i had abandonned deviantart for so long, but dont worry im still at the photography business, in fact a little more professional than before, the same goes for my band www.myspace.com/losprofugosrocks we already have a record label and have recorded Pro a LP that's going to see the light early in the 2011, i'm also have one of the most fantastic and beautiful girlfriends of this part of the world and i really love her, i'm not depressed anymore i even think that it helped me to grow up a little more.

I have some photos of 2009 and 2010 that want to upload to my gallery i don't know when but im going to do it, so wait for more of my work soon.

Hola mis queridisimos deviants de habla hispana, como les va ; todo este año a estado lleno de cosas lo cual ha sido abrumador por lo que me he visto "obligado"A dejar de lado mi pasion por el deviantart por un tiempo, mas no se preocupen aun sigo en el negocio de la fotografia, de hecho ahora lo hago de una manera mas profesional, al igual que mi banda www.myspace.com/losprofugosrocks hemos logrado despertar interes de parte de un sello discografico y ya hemos grabado un Lp Profesional que saldra (esperemos) a principios del 2011, tmb he tenido la suerte de tener una de las novias mas fantasticas y hermosas de esta parte del mundo , ya no me siento mas deprimido y de hecho pienso que me ha hecho madurar un poco mas .

Tengo una buena cantidad de fotos de entre finales del 2009 y lo que va de este año que quiero subir a la galeria, no se cuando lo hare, pero tengan por seguro que sera pronto

Hello my dear friends, I have been very depressed the last three months, thats why i have left deviant art aside, i want to say sorry about it to all the people who left nice messages and that faved my deviations while i was outside DA, but i feel better now because a lot of things are going right, the school, the friendships, and some other things that are making my life a little bit better.

I have a lot to thank to DA because without it i never would have discovered that I have talent for photography, i really want to thank to DA and all that deviants that have followed my work during these three years, i really wish there was a way to compensate all of you in some way, because without DA and all that nice comments and apreciation of my work, i would have left before I realized that I have some potential, so THANK YOUUUUU again, i realy love you guys you inspire me to keep on going with my art, CHEERSSSS!!!!




In other news, i have won the International Grand Prize of the "give us your best shot" costco photography contest, (the photo isn't in my gallery right now), there was 44500 participant shots and mine won over all those, thats like shocking for me, it really helped me to go out of my depression.

The only sad thing about it is that i don't have a costco account, thats why the photo entered into the contest under my brother's name "Francisco Rubin" and all the credit are going to go to him, but is ok i have 2500 dls and the certainty that i can be a world class photographer if I give it some effort, and I know that if a magazine or some photographer contact my brother for some work or something like that, he will reveal the truth, because he is as a photographer just as I am mathematical physicist , and as a plus, I can keep my picture and use it, while not commercially, so i will upload it very soon (but don't expect a print ).

It's almost half a year since i uploaded a journal, and i think that its just time to do it again, so... here i go.




This year has been overwhelming, a lot of things have happened in a pretty short lapse of time, and i just don't feel it like 8 months, it is more like a few weeks .

Here are some of the things that had happened this last half year:

*My girl friend broke up with me, with no chances to get back .

*I didn't get the job with the fine art company .

*I worked 7 months with my band to achieve a great ep , but the final product didn't was too satisfying, if you want you can listen to it here www.myspace.com/losprofugosrocks , if you have any critics please leave a comment here.

*There was a pandemic disease that stated on my country.

*I grew a sweet-ass beard

*I get rid of it because it was a little annoying.

*I'm studing the photographer carreer oficially

*I buyed a new laptop.

Etc....



This last months I kept a very low profile here in deviant art, thats because I was pretty occupied, I only were here ocasionaly to upload some photo or response some comments, thiswas to the point that I accumulate a lot of deviations, a lots of favs and a lot of comments. Right now i'm doing a clean because is pretty hard to look to every single deviantion when they are that much.

Thats why i want to say sorry for not faving or comment in the last months, and I really want to thank to all of that people that faved my work an that watched me in the time that I wasn't here I can't thank you personly in your account because there are to much people to thank to and it will take weeks, thats why i made a general appreciation in this journal..... so



Back to the DA bussines, i want to refresh my gallery, erasing some bad photos that not have any audience and re-uploading some re-edited photos, i'm going to upload a poll to ask for advice.

Again i have a lot of pictures to upload, the good thing is that right now i have some free time in the afternoons .

I'm know that im late as always, but i want to wish to everyone a super Merry Chrismas and a fantastic new year, i love you all guys and im very thankful whith all of you, you inspire me, you cheer up me and you give me some reasons to go on with the photography bussines that right now is my biggest passion. So thank you all again, I really like to be able to give a gift to each of you but it will be a little hard so the only thing i can do is to send a big to all and wish you happiness and prosperity.


This was a pretty busy year, but the most horrible months were november and december, that trip to london carried me lots of work with 20 gigas of RAWs to do , a famous fine art company wants some of my pics to publish them, we got a recording producer an a possible sign wit a discographic label in my band etc.... so the time for DA was pretty limited, the good thing is that I finally got some vacations to spend some time in my DA page.



There will be no features this month.

I´m going to London, Paris and Prague this 21 of october, so there will be some great pictures for november , to all my friends that think that i´m a very traveler person, i'm really not, this was a very lucky year.
